The Centre for the Conservation of Boreal Biodiversity (CCBB) offers nature lovers the opportunity of discovering Borealie, the northern expanse of the globe, either through a regular visit to its Wild Zoo, or through taking part in its unique selection of special activities: Adventure in the Land of the Caribou; the Boreal Summer Camp; Zookeeper for a Day; A Zoo at Night; Behind the Scenes, etc. The Zoo, which is open year-round, will surprise you with its vast natural and authentic habitats where so many different species cohabit. The Zoo includes a walking area and the Nature Trail Park, where human beings become an integral part of the overall concept. The latter visit lasts about one hour and consists of a trip in a train with mesh windows. The Zoo has a population of about 1,000 animals (75 different species) and a wide range of native plant species, which you will discover when you take the Flora trail. Come and make the acquaintance of our polar bears, the Japanese macaques or snow monkeys, and the wolverine. See a whole range of animals enjoying their snacking time. A never-to-be-forgotten visit.
